The warehouse is a three-story, brick building built in 1900 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Lancaster’s City Revitalization and Improvement Zone, or CRIZ, which was implemented in 2013, includes the warehouse and 130 acres of the surrounding downtown area. The survey was performed as the start of a planned renovation of the building, which would convert the former warehouse into an apartment building.
